Our Programs
Across all of our programs, Amanda’s Mission aims to bridge the gap between struggle and success. We seek out individuals who carry the courage to face their adversities head-on and offer our support through scholarship, mentorship, community building, and in any ways possible.
Amanda’s Mission Memorial Scholarship
Born out of a duty to honor the legacy of Amanda Grace Kish, Amanda’s Mission Memorial Scholarship’s inaugural year awarded three scholarships to promising senior varsity cheerleaders. This specific scholarship is reserved for senior varsity cheerleaders at Amanda’s alma matter, Theodore Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, MI.
Amanda’s Mission Cheer Competition
AMCC is an annual cheer competition and fundraising event which brings together schools across the region for a friendly competition while raising funds for the AMCC scholarship program. Applications for the scholarships will open after the competition concludes, and recipients will be announced in January 2025. Junior and senior varsity cheerleader participants will be eligible to apply!
Angel Parents of Michigan Grief Group
On a biweekly basis, parents, guardians, and siblings gather to mourn the loss of their loved ones, finding comfort in a community of people who understand the unique experience of losing a child. Angel Parents of Michigan will be hosted in Wyandotte, MI on a TBD date and serves the Downriver and neighboring communities.
Give Grace: Adopt a Family Christmas Program
We remember what it’s like to need some extra help. For many families, that help becomes a crucial blessing when the holidays come around. The Amanda’s Mission Give Grace Initiative is introducing our Adopt a Family program for Christmas 2024, during which our community anonymously nominates families to be adopted this holiday season!
